Hi there,

As I was nearing the end of my wellness coach certification, I was asked to reflect on my why, and it stopped me in my tracks. Because The Mindful Mixer isn’t just a business to me. It’s the product of two defining parts of my story:

1. Mindfulness & Feeling Well

I grew up with very little. My mom raised us on food stamps, collecting bottles and cans for extra money. But she was also a baker. She would bring kids from our neighborhood together in the kitchen, teaching us the simple joy of creating, connecting, and savoring (and keeping them safe and off the streets).

Those early memories shaped me. They showed me how powerful it can be to pause, gather, and share something nourishing. With The Mindful Mixer, I want to recreate that same sense of comfort and community. A space where people can breathe, sip mindfully, and feel well.

2. Health as a Lifeline

In 2020, I had a near-death experience. A six-inch blood clot near my heart required emergency surgery, and my surgeon told me that my health (my low resting heart rate, my dedication to fitness and wellness) quite literally saved my life.

That moment changed everything. I realized wellness isn’t about perfection or luxury; it’s about the everyday choices that keep us alive, resilient, and present. Even something as simple as a drink can nourish the body and soul when made with intention.

How It All Came Together

I’ve always been passionate about health and fitness, but that experience gave my purpose clarity. I became a certified personal trainer, nutrition coach, and wellness coach, and eventually found a way to merge my background in bartending and event planning with my mission to help others feel their best.

That’s how The Mindful Mixer was born.

What started as a personal passion is now a wellness-driven mocktail bar and workshop experience that blends celebration with intention. I create handcrafted, alcohol-free drinks using clean, functional ingredients, and turn them into experiences that help people feel included, connected, and inspired to live well.

Whether you’re hosting a baby shower, corporate wellness event, kids’ party, or team-building workshop, I’m here to bring something meaningful to the table. Each experience is hands-on, educational, and fun—inviting guests to slow down, understand what’s in their glass, and sip with purpose.

Because to me, mocktails aren’t just drinks.
They’re a way to connect. With yourself, your community, and your wellness goals.

Cheers,
Founder of The Mindful Mixer
